The Manila Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced that all four sections of the 11.7 km extension of Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 to Cavite will be completed by 2028. The project cost amounts to €1.07 billion (US$1.17 billion), and the project also includes the construction of eight new stations. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2024.
