Krzysztof Świerczek was appointed on 12th October 2022 to enlarge the board of PKP Intercity. He will be responsible for infrastructure investments and their maintenance. The CEO of PKP Intercity remains Marek Chraniuk. Also remaining on the board are Tomasz Gontarz, Jarosław Oniszczuk and Artur Resmer. He has been previously responsible for supervising the company's infrastructure investments located in southern Poland. One of his major tasks will be to invest EUR 536 million (PLN 2.6 billion) in modernised stops. After 2030, just three different standards will be used.
