Knox Kershaw Inc plans to introduce a hybrid version of the KBR 925 ballast regulator in early 2024. The hybrid version features a smaller motor for quieter operation, greater visibility, battery-powered motors, longer motor life and less wear and tear on pumps. Designed for ballast work on all track types, the KBR 925 features a plough and wing combination that transfers ballast from shoulder to shoulder in one pass, leaving one shoulder profiled.
