GVB Infra tenders up to four road-rail vehicles

GVB Infra, the infrastructure company of Amsterdam's public transport operator, has issued a tender for the delivery of up to four zero-emission road-rail vehicles for overhead line installation. The order is for an electric overhead line installation vehicle with a lifting basket that can be used both on the road and on the railway. The order also includes two options. The first option involves the purchase of a second zero-emission overhead line assembly vehicle, including maintenance. The second option concerns the replacement of one or two additional zero-emission overhead line assembly trolleys, including maintenance, which will also reach the end of their service life in a few years' time. These vehicles will be reviewed separately to determine whether or not they should be replaced.
