On 29th March 2023, the SmartDigital Group and Digital Railway Solutions, a part of the Plasser Group, formally established the Dynamic Rail Utilities Monitoring (DRUM) joint venture (JV). The newly founded company is to use drones and artificial intelligence (AI) to build digital models of rail infrastructure assets.
