Draft statutes for InfraGO include 8 objectives

The public interest infrastructure company DB InfraGO AG is planning to include eight public interest objectives in its statutes, according to a report by the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) to the Parliamentary Transport Committee. The objectives include the creation of a demand-oriented, high-performance and efficient railway infrastructure, the promotion of innovation and climate protection, and the strengthening of transparency and user participation. Another steering instrument of DB InfraGO AG is to be the establishment of an Infrastructure Plan, which translates long-term political goals into verifiable measures and key figures. This plan is to be drawn up by the federal government and the sector advisory board, consisting of sector stakeholders. The sector advisory board is to be created from the merger of the existing network and station advisory boards and increase transparency requirements. In addition, the federal government plans to strengthen the control mechanisms under company law via the supervisory boards of DB and DB InfraGO.
