German state railway DB and Austrian state railway ÖBB are using artificial intelligence (AI) from spare parts search provider Partium to search for spare parts. The AI technology enables a more efficient and accurate search for spare parts, which speeds up maintenance processes and reduces operating costs. Following a project at DB Fernverkehr, DB has introduced Partium as the standard technology for spare parts searches in all maintenance and repair areas. ÖBB decided in favour of Partium in order to increase efficiency and expand its service areas.
