China Railway Construction Corp’s (CRCC) design and research institute is undertaking a feasibility study for a proposed China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway line. In January 2023, a joint project office was opened in Kyrgyzstan by representatives of the government and the national railway as well as their counterparts from Uzbekistan.
