The contract was awarded by the state-owned project company Société du Grand Paris (SGP) and covers the construction of a section between the Bobigny – Pablo Picasso and Champigny Centre stations. The works include the construction of 17 km of tunnels, 15 service buildings and two tunnel accesses, the laying of the tracks, the installation of high- and low-voltage systems, as well as electromechanical equipment in the stations and tunnels. In addition, the consortium will build six new stations and realise an operations centre in Rosny-sous-Bois as well as two real estate projects in Bondy and Le Perreux. Work will begin after a 15-month planning phase and is scheduled for completion in 2031.
