The Port of Vigo in northern Spain has awarded the construction work for the new rail access for the Plisan logistics centre to a joint venture (JV) of Comsa and Civis Global for €33.4 million. The JV is to build the new connection to the general rail network at a cost of approximately €33.4 million over a 22-month construction period. The work includes modifications to the conventional existing track to the facility, construction of the siding including a loading ramp for freight services, road access with an internal distribution traffic circle, and urban development of the facility with installation of additional access control equipment and fencing.
