The general assembly of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) has elected Renée Amilcar as its new president, the first woman president in the association’s history. Amilcar replaces Khalid Alhogail, the president of Saudi Transport Company (Saptco). Amilcar has been the general manager of OC Transpo in Ottawa since 2019.
