On 6th June 2023, Ukraine and the European Commission (EC) signed an agreement associating Ukraine with the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). The agreement allows Ukrainian project promoters to apply for EU funding for Projects of Common Interest (PCI) in the transport, energy and digital sectors. In the area of transport, Ukrainian authorities and companies will be able to apply for funding under the CEF Transport in future calls for proposals in the current programming period (2021-2027). The next call for proposals will be launched in September 2023.
