Spanish railway infrastructure manager Adif has invited tenders for track renewal work on the 89.2 km Reus (Tarragona) – Fayón (Zaragoza) section for €7.7 million. The work on the existing Zaragoza – Caspe – Móra la Nova – Tarragona line includes the renewal of the superstructure elements to improve the reliability and quality of rail operations as well as the comfort of passenger rail and rail freight transport. In addition to the installation of new rails, multi-purpose sleepers and ballast replacement, welding, levelling, alignment, and reprofiling work will be carried out.
