Adif awards contracts for rail grinding on conventional network

Spanish rail infrastructure manager Adif has awarded two contracts worth a total of €37.3 million for profiling work on the existing broad-gauge network, switches, and special sections at high-density local transport hubs. Speno International was awarded a contract worth €32.2 million for profiling work on the conventional network. A consortium consisting of Comsa and Mecno Service will realise the work on switches and special sections such as embedded track systems or in tunnels for €5.1 million. The contract has a term of four years.
