Adif AV has tendered the supply of signalling technology for the construction of the Murcia – Almería high-speed rail (HSR) line. The contract, worth €254.8 million, covers the implementation of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) Level 2 (L2) and the other associated equipment: interlockings, train protection systems, auxiliary systems for obstacle detection, central traffic control (CTC), and telecommunications for operation on the entire 200 km line and the Pulpí – Águilas branch line.
