Construction is progressing on the fourth double-track section of the Tren Maya line, from Izamal to Cancún. A total of 143 km out of 239 km have been built and electrified. In addition, three road distributors, 24 drainage structures, and 99 pedestrian, vehicle and animal crossings have been constructed and put into operation. In addition, a new depot and workshop is to be built in Cancún and a maintenance station in Valladolid.
