China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) has completed track laying for the modernisation of the 63 km narrow gauge line between Port Harcourt and Aba. The work is part of the Eastern Rail Corridor project to modernise the line from Cape gauge to standard gauge between Port Harcourt and Maiduguri in north-eastern Nigeria.
