CR investments increase 6.3% in first four months of 2023

In the first four months of 2023, Chinese state railway CR invested a total of €22 billion (CNY 167.4 billion) in the national railway network. This was an increase of 6.3% compared to the same period in 2022. Projects realised during that time included the completion of track-laying works for the line between Tianjin and Beijing Daxing International Airport as well as for the high-speed rail (HSR) line connecting Nanchang, the capital of the province of Jiangxi, and Huangshan in the Anhui province.
