Three consortia shortlisted for Surrey – Langley SkyTrain extension in Vancouver

Three consortia have been shortlisted for the €2.7 billion (CA$3.9 billion) expansion of Vancouver's SkyTrain Expo Line, the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC) has announced. The consortia pre-selected are Transit Integrators BC, consisting of Graham Infrastructure, SNC-Lavalin, and Western Pacific Enterprises; Surrey Langley SkyTrain Connectors, consisting of Aecon, SICE Canada, and Parsons; and Kiewit Infrastructure BC, consisting of Kiewit and Mass Electric. The contract includes design, construction, track work and installation of electrical systems, including signalling and telecommunications, for the 16 km section between King George station in Surrey and downtown Langley. BC expects the successful bidder to be named in early 2024, and work to be completed in 2028.
