Infrastructure operator Network Rail has appointed Jeremy Westlake as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Westlake, currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Network Rail, will replace Sir Andrew Haines upon his retirement and officially take up his new role on 20th October 2025. His appointment has been approved by Transport Minister Heidi Alexander. Westlake, a chartered accountant, has been CFO at Network Rail since 2016 and joined from Alstom Transport, where he was Senior Vice President of Finance.
