Component manufacturer Vossloh has announced the acquisition of the Scandinavian Track Group (STG), a Swedish company specialising in switch services and track-specific welding services. With this acquisition, Vossloh expands its service portfolio in Northern Europe and can now cover the entire life cycle of switches. The transaction, which is subject to approval by the Swedish Competition Authority and the Swedish Ministry of Economic Affairs, is expected to be completed in mid-2024. STG, which generated sales of €22.3 million in the 2023 financial year and employs around 120 people, will strengthen Vossloh's Lifecycle Solutions division.
