On 19th July 2024, the component manufacturer Vossloh acquired the French company France Aiguillages Services (FAS) to expand its range of services for switches and signalling systems in France. FAS, based in Bertrichamps, provides a wide range of services related to switches and signalling systems, mainly for the French state railway SNCF. The acquisition also includes the LUNEFCF training centre, which trains FAS and SNCF employees in the maintenance of railway infrastructure. FAS will strengthen Vossloh's Lifecycle Solutions business unit in the future. The acquisition did not require the approval of the antitrust authorities.
