Viktor Vogler has been supporting Stefan Weiss, who has been the sole Managing Director of Schieneninfrastruktur Dienstleistungsgesellschaft mbH (SCHIG) since 2020, since 1st November 2024. Vogler and Weiss will thus lead the subsidiary of the Austrian Ministry of Climate Protection BMK as a dual leadership in the future. SCHIG is responsible for ordering public passenger rail transport, monitoring railway infrastructure projects, and handling subsidies in the mobility sector. Vogler has a master's degree in spatial planning from the Vienna Technological University, has worked in the transport industry and has most recently been Head of the passenger rail transport division at SCHIG since 2023.
