Systra has been awarded a contract for a new railway line in the Cukurova region in southern Turkey. This project includes four new lines, including the İltisak line and lines between the industrial area and the port of Erzin. Systra Türkiye will carry out the studies for the lines and the necessary infrastructure. The contract will be carried out by the Özgün - Özdemir Construction consortium on behalf of the World Bank and the Infrastructure Investment Directorate General, which are financing the project. The contract is part of a comprehensive plan to modernise the Turkish railway network, which includes electrification and signalling renewal, as well as the construction of new connections.
