Prague Public Transport (DPP) has contracted Strabag Rail to build a 600 m extension of Prague's light rail transit (LRT) network from Holyne to Slivenec. The extension is a continuation of the Barrandov – Holyne extension, which opened in April 2022 and is currently operated as part of Line 5. The contract amount is EUR 9.58 million (CZK 233.1 million) and the works are expected to start in early 2023 and be completed by September 2023. The project is partially funded by the EU.
