In June 2025, Stadler opened a new location for signalling technology in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The opening is in connection with an order from the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) to install the communication-based train control system CBTC on Atlanta's metro network.
