Czech railway technology supplier Skoda Group has founded the new subsidiary Skoda Group Austria GmbH, with headquarters in Vienna. On 1st February 2023, the Skoda subsidiary took over 40 employees and some of the assets of Molinari Rail GmbH Austria, which had gone bankrupt in November 2022. In addition to the Molinari headquarters in Vienna, Skoda is also taking over a branch in Schwaz, Tyrol. The new subsidiary is to have a high degree of autonomy in business and technical terms but will also participate in the activities of the entire Skoda Group.
