Siemens receives €270 million order to electrify the CRL

Siemens Mobility and Concord Corporation Pte Ltd have received an order from the Singapore Land Transport Authority to electrify the Cross Island Line (CRL). The contract includes the design, delivery, installation, testing, and starting operation of the power supply system, worth around €270 million. This is the third contract for Siemens Mobility in the CRL project, following the contracts for the overhead contact line system and the CBTC signalling system. The power supply system will enable seamless integration between power supply and signalling systems and support future upgrades. Siemens Mobility is also supplying a condition monitoring system and the intelligent fault isolation system (iFIS) for improved performance monitoring. The CRL will be fully automated and driverless.
