On 7th July 2025, Rail Power Systems (RPS) acquired all shares in road construction and civil engineering company Hilser Straßen- und Tiefbau (HST). Founded in 2001, the company specialises in road construction, civil engineering and pipeline construction and has previously worked as a subcontractor for RPS. In the railway infrastructure sector, HST performs tasks such as cable laying and assembly and disassembly work in the field of electrical equipment and railway power supply. The company will remain independent within the RPS Group.
