The Indian branch of track construction machinery manufacturer Plasser and the Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) University in Vadodara, which is financed by the Indian Ministry of Railways, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 3rd June 2024. This agreement provides for cooperation in research, teaching, and training to deepen students' understanding of scientific, technical, and management-related topics in the field of railway infrastructure. Plasser India and the university specialising in transport and logistics will work together to develop the academic curriculum and leadership programmes and explore potential synergies for joint research, partnerships with international institutes, and internship opportunities.
