PKP PLK plans to issue tenders for projects worth €4 billion in 2024

Infrastructure manager PKP PLK has announced tenders worth €2.74 billion (PLN 11.8 billion) for modernisation and construction of new tracks and signed contracts worth €3.4 billion in 2024. Further tenders are planned by the end of the year to reach a total of €4 billion for 2024. PKP PLK has put out to tender the contract for the construction of new tracks and modernisation of existing stops on the line between Warsaw Wawer and Otwock. The contract is to be signed in 2025 and the project is to be completed in 2028. The estimated value of the project, co-financed by the European Commission under the Infrastructure, Climate, Environment Programme for 2021-2027 (FEnIKS), is €418.37 million.
