The Warsaw suburban railway operator SKM Warszawa has appointed Maria Wasiak as the new President of the Board of Directors. Marek Chmurski was also appointed as a member of the Board. Konrad Mirowski, who until recently performed the duties of President, remains on the SKM Board. Maria Wasiak was previously President of the Board of PKP Przewozy Regionalne and President of the Board of PKP. Marek Chmurski was a member of the Warsaw Public Transport Board from 2010 to 2017 and was responsible for the organisation of rail transport in the Warsaw agglomeration. Since 2021, he has been the Mayor of Warsaw's representative for the development of railway infrastructure.
