The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber WKÖ has elected Günter Neumann as the new Chair of the country's Railways Association. Neumann, who has been with transport company Stern & Hafferl since 1993 and has served as Managing Director since 2005, brings over 30 years of experience in the industry to the role. He succeeds Thomas Scheiber, who has been Chair since 2008 and will now remain as Deputy Chair of the association. Monika Unterholzner was also confirmed as Deputy Chair.
