The Italian city of Naples has invited tenders for the design, construction, delivery, and putting into operation of rail vehicles for the maintenance of line 1 of the city's metro network. The tender comprises two lots, with the first lot including a shunting and recovery locomotive with an estimated net value of around €1.76 million and the second lot including a hybrid crane wagon with platform for the maintenance of overhead lines with an estimated net value of €900,000. The deadline for receipt of bids is 2nd October 2024.
