The Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Thai Ministry of Transport. This covers the areas of railways and urban development, including maintenance support for the Red Line in Bangkok's suburban rail network, transit-oriented development, high-speed rail (HSR) lines and freight transport.
