HZ Infrastruktura has signed a contract with Plasser & Theurer for the delivery of nine vehicles for track construction and maintenance. The order worth EUR 49.4 million was awarded following a public tender and is being financed by a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB). The machines, including a tamping machine for vertical and horizontal track adjustment, a ballast cleaning machine, two machines for track and switch tamping, two ballast profiling machines and three conveyor belt tipping wagons, will be delivered within four years of the contract being signed.
