Government invests EUR 796 million in railway projects in Haryana

The Indian government has announced that it will finance three railway projects in the state of Haryana, providing a total of EUR 796 million (INR 65.2 billion). Of this, EUR 686 million is for the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC) project, a 122 km double-track line in western Delhi from Palwal in the south to Harsana Kalan in the north. Another EUR 72 million is to be invested in a passenger coach maintenance facility in Sonipat. EUR 38.5 million will be invested in a planned elevated railway line in Rohtak.
