The Estonian government has decided to invest an additional €197 million in the construction of the Rail Baltica railway project to ensure the start of operation of the project by 2030. This was confirmed by Infrastructure Minister Vladimir Svet in a letter to his counterparts from Latvia and Lithuania. In addition, €75 million will be allocated for the construction of a vehicle workshop. In Estonia, 65 km of the main line of the Rail Baltica in the Harju and Rapla regions have either been contracted or are already under construction.
