Italian state railway FSI and Ukrainian state railway UZ have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to identify joint opportunities in international rail transport and infrastructure development. The non-binding MoC will run for two years and aims to strengthen passenger rail transport and rail freight transport links between Italy and Ukraine, improve international logistics and exchange technical know-how. To this end, a joint working group will be set up to monitor the implementation of the initiatives. In addition, FSI is intending to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the provision of uniforms and equipment for Ukrainian railway personnel.
