Etihad Rail has invited tenders for the construction and design of the 150 km high-speed rail (HSR) line between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tender documents were issued on 10th January 2025, with a deadline for submission of bids of 7th May 2025. The line includes the construction of five stations. The works will be divided into four sections: Al Zahiyah – Yas Island (23.5 km), Yas Island – Abu Dhabi/Dubai administrative boundary (64.2 km), Abu Dhabi/Dubai administrative boundary – Al Jaddaf, Dubai (52.1 km) and a branch to Abu Dhabi Airport (9.2 km).
