Thor Gjermund Eriksen has announced his resignation as CEO of Norwegian infrastructure operator Bane NOR. Eriksen took over the position in October 2023. During his tenure, the integration of rail operations was achieved and a new corporate structure was created. Eriksen will continue to be available during his notice period. The Board of Bane NOR will now begin the search for a new CEO, while Jon-Erik Lunøe, who has been with the company since 2019, took over as interim CEO on 27th February 2025.
