Moroccan state railway ONCF has awarded a French-Moroccan consortium consisting of Egis, Systra, and Novec a contract to provide project management support for the development of the Kénitra – Marrakesh high-speed rail (HSR) line. The contract signed on 1st August 2024 covers project management, overall operational planning, technical optimisation, and general project services. The quadruple-track expansion of 130 km of conventional line around Casablanca and the development of several new railway stations will also be supported.
