Czech switch manufacturer DTVS has successfully completed the delivery of 86 switch blades for UK infrastructure operator Network Rail. This delivery was made as part of a contract with Trackwork, a UK switch manufacturer. The last 14 units are scheduled to be shipped to England in early April 2025. The collaboration with Trackwork began in 2018 and involves the development and production of railway components that meet international standards. An important step was the development of a special forged die for the 54E1A1/56E1 profile, which exceeds EN standards. After successful testing and a six-month trial run, DTVS received full certification from Network Rail.
