DB InfraGO has awarded Siemens Mobility and Leonhard Weiss a contract to equip the railway line sections from Lüneburg to Dannenberg and Uelzen to Stelle with new interlocking technology and the European Train Control System (ETCS). The contract was awarded via a further call-off from the framework agreement for digital control-command and signalling (CCS) technology. This framework agreement is worth a total of EUR 6.3 billion.
