DB Engineering & Consulting (DB E&C), as consortium leader, has signed a contract with Hill International for general consulting (GC) services for the expansion of the metro network in Gurugram. The client is Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL). The contract encompasses comprehensive consulting services for the planning, tender preparation, construction supervision, and start of operations of a new 28.5 km metro corridor. This corridor consists of a main line of approximately 26.7 km between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City, as well as a branch line of approximately 1.8 km from Basai Village to Sector 101, the Dwarka Expressway. The new line is designed to operate fully automatically at Grade of Automation 4 (GoA4).
