The Silver Line of Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is scheduled to start operating between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026. Construction is approximately 85% complete. The 45 km suburban rail line connects East Plano with Terminal B of Dallas/Fort Worth Airport and includes 10 new stations. Construction is divided into three segments, with Segment C in Plano and Richardson already enabling vehicle testing. Segment A, connecting the airport to Carrollton, is scheduled for testing by the end of January 2025. Segment B in North Dallas is still under construction and is scheduled for testing by the summer of 2025.
