The Cordel Group has introduced PTC Asset Connect, a solution for automated rail infrastructure capture and localisation. The system uses LiDAR and artificial intelligence (AI) to capture infrastructure with Positive Train Control (PTC) without manual on-site surveys and to document changes on a regular basis. The results are delivered via a cloud platform or API and provide tools for managing and documenting asset changes to simplify compliance processes.
