John Voppen will step down as CEO of Dutch infrastructure operator ProRail on 1st July 2026 and join healthcare and care provider Total Care. Voppen has worked at ProRail for 21 years, the last six of which as Managing Director. With this move, he will also step down from his roles as President of NGinfra, the association of Dutch infrastructure managers in the energy, water, ports and transport sectors, and as Vice President of the European Rail Infrastructure Managers (EIM). ProRail has already begun the search for his successor.
