Stockholm's public transport authority Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) has awarded Cactus Rail a contract worth €35 million to replace the transport management systems on the Swedish capital's red and blue metro lines. The contract also includes support for 25 years after the start of operations. Cactus explained that the existing T-Bana control systems were more than 50 years old and had reached the end of their service life. The new systems will also support the planned expansion of the network.
