Andreas Matthä, CEO of Austrian state railway ÖBB, will step down as President of the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER) on 31st December 2025. He will be succeeded by Alan Beroud, CEO of Polish state railway PKP. Matthä has held the position since 2020 and will take over as Vice Chair of CER in 2026.
